Partners for Peace Helpline Coordinator, Jessica Kinney (she, her), crosses the finish line at the St. Joe’s Commit to Get Fit 5K on Sunday, September 26th.
Partners for Peace staff, board, and volunteers show up in various ways for their community every day and that was especially true over the weekend. Despite the weather, Team Partners for Peace participated in the St. Joe’s Commit to Get Fit 5K to raise funds for the SAFE (Sexual Assault Forensic Examination Nurse) Program.
Together, with our community, we helped raise $125,000 for the St. Joe’s SAFE Nurse Program. The pleasure was all ours, because this program is essential for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault to receive the trauma-informed medical care they deserve.
